Job Description

Designation : HRBP - Senior Manager

Reporting Manager : Dual Reporting - Channel Head (primary) & HR Head (secondary)

Purpose:

The HRBP is responsible for providing a complete gamut of HR services - Talent acquisition, On boarding, Performance Management and Employee relations of the assigned channel. This role holder provides business partnership to the channel and provides inputs on various people issues

Education:

Post Graduate Degree in Management with Specialization in HR

Experience Range: Experience of around 8 to 10 years in HRBP role

Professional Experience/ Skills:

1. Experience of leading and managing the team for at least 4 to 5 years

2. Experience of supporting sales in a matrix-based environment is preferred

3. Good Understanding of Business model. Preferable from BFSI

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Budget

1. Designing and implementation of HR Strategy for the Channel in alignment with Business strategy

2. Provide insights and analytics to HR head/ Channel Head on people agenda for building overall HR strategy

3. Prepare cost effective HR budget for the channel in line with the Channels overall spend and ensuring adherence by constant monitoring & tracking

Talent acquisition and On boarding

1. Prepare a manpower plan for the channel in consultation with Channel Head and Sales team

2. Manage the end to end recruitment process for the channel as per the plan source mix/ avenues to source, selection process, salary negotiation and salary fitment, appointment letter, etc.

3. Ensure smooth and timely completion of induction and on boarding formalities for new joiners within the defined timeframe

4. Devise and implement innovative strategies for sourcing and retention of salesforce (reducing YOY new joining attrition). Also explore ways of controlling and reducing attrition for the channel

Performance Management

1. Ensure effective implementation of the Sales Performance Management System across the channel

2. Devise and implement innovative strategies in driving performance and enhancing productivity

3. Ensure effective execution and implementation of a uniform PDP/ PIP process in the channel

4. Enhance the business aligned performance pay enablers in correlation with the channel performance

5. Liaise with the Competence Development Lead/Sales training Lead to ensure effective skill development of employees in the channel

Employee Relations

1. Liaise with HO Employee Engagement team for participation in HO driven engagement initiatives. Design and implement engagement initiatives for the channel

2. Ensure compliance to labour laws, statutory compliances and state regulations pertaining to employment matters. Liaise with HO Operation team for communication the statutory acts to employees of the channel

3. Ensure correct mapping of employees in all employee related portals and accurate attendance/ leaves recordkeeping and reconciliation for the channel

4. Ensure timely inputs to HO Payroll team for processing of payroll for the channel

5. Ensure timely issuance of Employee service letters (Confirmation, Transfer, Promotion, Increment, Relieving/experience) to all employees of the channel

6. Ensure smooth exit process for exiting employees exit interviews, asset recoveries and timely F&F settlement as per SLICs Exit policy

7. Resolve employee queries, issues and address their grievances within agreed TAT

8. Manage and close the disciplinary procedures for the channel within agreed TAT

9. Ensure satisfactory audit ratings (ISO etc)


Employee Relations


1. Manage relationships with vendors for cost effective and timely services

2. Review performance of existing vendors. Provide feedback and take corrective action to address identified issues (delivery related, process related)

3. Ensure timely payment of vendor fees

4. Ensure on-boarding of new vendors as required and ensure adherence to the process for new vendor empanelment (vendor evaluation, contracts/ agreements, approvals)

Process improvement and Automation

1. Identify and address the gaps in the current HR processes and plan improvement/ new initiatives in discussion with the Channel Head and HR Head

2. Identify the critical areas that can be automated to enhance efficiency and save costs. Ensure effective implementation of the projects

3. Ensure adherence to organization/channel specific policies and processes

4. Keep abreast of the latest trends in area of HR. Adopt best practices

MIS & Reporting

1. Ensure creation & maintenance of all HR related MIS for the channel including employee personal files

2. Publish dashboards and prepare the relevant reports as required by the Channel

Team management

1. Set clear expectations by communicating goals and timelines to team members. Review and monitor performance of team members and provide constructive feedback and guidance

2. Ensure completion of mandatory learning/ training modules by all team members

3. Drive a transparent, performance driven and result oriented culture within the team
